DeWalt 20V battery adapter for Radley and Benchmark tools (Home Hardware)

This adapter will allow you to use your existing DeWalt 20V batteries on Radley and Benchmark brand tools (from Home Hardware here in Canada). I made this kit in an effort to allow you to select other tools, rather than getting stuck to the DeWalt or other brands just because you are locked into a specific battery brand. I have another kit for Canadian Tire tools as well (link at bottom), and will be steadily adding more kits as I come across them. They all use the same screws and terminals.

This adapter is not guaranteed to fit every Radley or Benchmark tool, although I have yet to find a tool where it did not work the same as an OEM battery. I have tested the adapter on the following tools:

Note that the adapter byes all functions built into DeWalt tools and batteries, whereby the temperature and voltage are monitored. The adapter has no temperature or voltage monitoring terminals, so be mindful of this in extended use.

Warning: DO NOT charge any battery through this adapter. DeWalt batteries must be charged on an appropriate DeWalt charger. This ensures the cells are balanced. Improperly balanced lithium batteries are a serious fire risk.
