Cults3D partners with Lychee for a special Tabletop contest!

Publish 3D models of tabletop figurines and try to win Lychee Slicer Plus licenses and €1500.

Tabletop 3D printing contest in partnership with Lychee

We are pleased to announce the launch of our special tabletop contest in partnership with Lychee!

This contest is the perfect opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent in figurine sculpting. With Lychee Slicer Plus, your resin (MSLA) and FDM 3D prints will be perfectly enhanced.

The contest theme: tabletop figurines. We invite you to create original and inspiring 3D models that will enrich the tabletop universe. The possibilities are endless, but here are some ideas to inspire you:

  • Heroic characters: knights, mages, or fantastic creatures ready to an epic adventure.
  • Mythological creatures: dragons, griffins, and other formidable monsters that could spice up a gaming campaign.
  • NPCs and ambiance figurines: tavern keepers, traveling merchants, or villagers to bring life to the scenery.
  • Modular game scenery: walls, rocks, or scenery elements to enrich the battlefields.

However, we would like to emphasize that to be eligible for the contest, the submitted models must be entirely original and exclusive. It is essential to respect copyright, which is why we do not accept creations inspired by or derived from existing franchises. Participants must publish unique models to avoid any copyright issues.

So, get out your modeling software, let your imagination run wild, and show us your vision of the perfect tabletop figurine! Good luck to all creators, and may the best model win!

What is the duration of the contest?

The contest will run from November 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025.

What are the prizes?

To reward the best creations,

Lychee is offering Lychee Slicer Plus licenses, allowing access to more features to successfully complete your 3D printing projects.

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd place: a one-year Lychee Slicer Plus license (worth €120)
  • 4th to 13th place: free access to Lychee Slicer Plus for 3 months (worth €30)

Cults is offering €1,500 to spend as you wish, enough to cover some of your 3D printing material needs, for example :) See the payment by bank transfer in the rules.

  • 1st place: €750
  • 2nd place: €500
  • 3rd place: €250

How to participate in the contest?

  • Publish one or more new and original 3D printable models (never published on Cults before) related to the contest theme.
  • Mention the hashtag #TABLETOPXLYCHEE in the description of your design (your design will not appear immediately in the list of entries due to moderation, please be patient).
  • Submit your 3D model for free on Cults.
  • Share your creation around you to get as much visibility as possible and increase your chances of winning.

How will the winners be selected?

Participants will be judged by the Lychee and Cults teams according to the following criteria:

  • Originality of the 3D model: 10 points
  • Usefulness and ingenuity of the creation: 10 points
  • Quality and photographic staging: 5 points
  • Popularity of the model (number of likes, s, views, etc.): 5 points
