3D model description
Misty the Build Plate Holder Cat
Meet Misty, the blocky cat with a purpose—helping your freshly washed FDM build plates air dry without dripping all over your workspace! This chunky feline holds up to 10 build plates (max 1.2mm thick) at a 45 deg angle, so the water drains neatly into her hollow body.
When the plates are dry, just tip Misty forward to pour the collected water—right out of her mouth! You can even reuse it to water your plants. Practical, adorable, and just a little bit magical. 🐾💧

Disclaimer & Material Recommendation
I recommend printing Misty in PETG, as it holds water better than PLA and is more resistant to leaks.
If your cat leaks, you can try the following:
- Increase the wall count and bottom layer count
- Slightly increase the flow rate in your filament settings
- Print hotter to improve layer adhesion
- Print slower to ensure better bonding
One—or a combination—of these adjustments should fix any potential leaks.
That said, I had great success with the provided print settings above. 🐾💧
