ok so this is literally the 3rd thing I am helping my kiddo print, so forgive what is likely a newbie question. We printed the classic left side of the hoder great, I am printing the middle portion now using s and a raft since we have a flashforge 5M and the plate was not big enough for it to lay flat. Where is the file for printing the right side of the dock? I see 3 files in the zip and if I just print another one of the classic for the left side it will not hook into the middle portion. Sorry again, I know I probably phrased this in the worst way possible!

The design is nice but unfortunately it does not fit, it must be repaired and the part that fits should be made smaller - 0.2mm per side, I hope you solve it soon

Hi there! Loved the print, came out just fine! But I noticed that Part B has a flat surface that sits just below the right Joycon, not allowing the Switch to be even when on the dock (I checked other s pictures to be sure that was not a problem I was facing alone). I noticed you ed a fix for this on Dec 2022, but I ed it last week, and the problem remains. Can you land a hand on this issue? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out, and you are correct. The first release faced this issue. Since then, I corrected that and the latest update from Dec 31, 2022 is the one to grab. Please, re the file and you should be okay.

The OLED! I printed Part A for OLED, fits perfectly, but B is making it sit a bit high

You could do this same design for the steam deck, it's a console similar to the Nintendo, the files and dimensions of the console are on the internet, greetings! :)

I am delighted to hear you're having a blast with the model. Thank you very much for sharing. I know about the USB ports....it is a pity. But opening a hole large enough for ports and cables will ruin the aesthetic. That's why I decided to block them. I hope that makes sense. Happy printing on the X1C, which looks fantastic!

currently printing this for my GF at 200mm/s on a heavily modified ender 3. input shaping and pressure advance both calibrated and enabled. Single perimeter and the scattered rectilinear infill in superslicer. its printing in transparent blue PLA. hoping it comes out well. so far so good! love the model!

I have a guider II and part B is coming in with the square on the bed and the crystal in the air. I tried rotating and just got speghetti. Please advise. This is a cool pring and I wanted to do this for my grands for Christmas. Thank you

Try to use Cura or Prusa Slicer to slice your models, and you won't have any issues.

Hello. I love this print and just finished if for my daughter for Christmas (both parts for the original switch at the same time because of color change filament) and the charging dock does not fit when together. I followed your guidelines and I can snap both pieces on the ends of the dock separately but not together. Any suggestions?

Hi there,
I am sorry to hear you have issues with your print.
Here are my leads:
- You printed the wrong parts for your specific Switch model.
- You have a modified dock or a cover that makes it larger than it should be.
- You scale down the parts by accident before slicing them.
These are my first guesses. I would try another slicer if nothing works.

You need at least a bed that is 175mm long. It fits a Prusa Mini.

Part B works for the OLED and CLASSIC versions. Only Part A differ.

Please check your settings and ensure you do not have any elephant foot on your first layers; otherwise, it will be too tight to fit in. I hope that helps.

With my own settings on a Prusa mini, it took 6h per part (2 parts to print).
