I see some people have an addon or a stand option. is that something you have in the files or is it someting i should look into making? Wife woulkd like this along side her Fourth Wing series

I am printing the dragon whole. I noticed that mine is printing with a pretty solid base and is taking forever. I sliced using Cura, and followed the settings on instructibles, However I think there may be some s that you removed that I left in. The printout says it is going to take 4 days, so I think most of that time is the s. Can you elaborate on what the settings that you used were. I am using a CR-10 Smart pro printer.

I used about 40Β° fot the s, If your slicer offers too much material, look for an option where you can manually remove some.

I went ahead and just let it print. It took 3 days but the end result was perfect. I accidentally broke a leg. but that was not because of the s. I managed to get the dragon to pop off the s using a plastic pry tool and all of the dragon detail was there. I was afraid that the s would leave spots without detail, But this worked perfectly and I will do the same again if I print another one. The s covered the entire tail but once popped off the tail was perfect.

Hello, print it using transparent colorful filament. I used white LED lights.

And to print the fire tower, do you recommend that I print it in 2 parts and then them? Or should I use some kind of ?

Hi, we used a hot glue gun but you can use a screw and drill trough the print and the wall if you want.

Hi, there's a hole ready at the bottom for an LED and you can either use some adhesive or screw through the thinnest part in the middle of the flame base.

Hello, I just acquired the files, in the description it says that it is the model without the king of the night. But I've checked, and all the dragon models come with it.

Awesome, thanks for responding. I went ahead and tried 175% scale to see if it would work with the 500mm. Don't take this as a major criticism, I love this model you did, but it would be nice to get an stl flame for the lamp version at the 500mm size. I only say that because the gap at the bottom of the flames for the USB cable is enlarged quite a bit with upscaling and the base with the recess for the E board is thrown out of proper measurement when the 250 base plate is scaled up.

Both are manageable and not major issues, would just be nice to have the 500mm model flames as clean as the 250mm model. Also, this may all be moot because I don't know if the E lights are going to be as effective with the 500mm flames.

If it works, awesome. If not my daughter gets a dragon toy to play with while I reprint her lamp at 250mm. Thanks again for the beautiful model and all the options included with the package!

Hello,

I bought this and printed the 5 piece 500mm dragon (great model btw). However, I noticed there isn't a 500mm flame .stl that is hollow for the lamp. Do you know how much to scale up the 250mm to fit the 500mm model? Would it just be scaling the 250mm flames 200%? Thanks!
